From a bird's-eye view, they invite us to step back, observe the world from a distance, and question our own perception. Working within a narrative context, Doerfler portrays birds in a style that appears intentionally naive. Für den Platz der Kinderrechte in Amberg entstand eine illustrative Gestaltung, die zentrale Inhalte der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention – wie Schutz, Beteiligung, Bildung und Freiheit – kindgerecht und zugänglich visualisiert. Die Illustrationen sind Teil einer künstlerischen Litfaßsäule mit Skulptur sowie von zehn interaktiven Kugelspielen. Säule und Skulptur wurden von Hanna Regina Uber und Robert Diem geplant und umgesetzt.
